From November to February the Skirball Cultural Center held an exhibition titled "A Path Appears: Actions for a Better World" where they explored the issues of education, health, jobs and empowerment through stories of people, ideas and organizations that are developing workable solutions. One such story was that of Khadijah Williams, a Thomas Jefferson High School graduate who beat the odds and went from being homeless to attending Harvard.
